These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of monkeyocr.net ("MonkeyOCR," "the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use MonkeyOCR.
1. Description of Service
MonkeyOCR provides a free, browser-based tool that uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to extract text from user-uploaded images and scanned documents.

3. Ownership of Content
You retain full ownership of any images you upload and any text extracted from them. We do not claim any rights to your content. As described in our Privacy Policy, uploaded images are deleted from our servers shortly after processing.
4. Intellectual Property
The MonkeyOCR website, branding, design, and underlying software are the property of MonkeyOCR and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the Service itself without permission.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
MonkeyOCR is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that text extraction will be 100% accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free. Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying extracted text before relying on it for any purpose.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MonkeyOCR and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including but not limited to data loss or inaccurate text extraction.
7. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party infrastructure and advertising providers. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party.
8. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also revise these Terms periodically; continued use of MonkeyOCR after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from use of the Service shall be resolved in accordance with that governing law.
